Obituary of Jean Fish

Jean Emily Schmit Fish, age 71, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2015 at St Mary's-Asbury Ridge. Jean was born on July 30, 1943 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Herman M. and Lorraine Lentz Schmit. She was co-owner of several businesses; Gray's Pools and Gray's Kitchens. She was also employed at various businesses including Young's Cleaners. Jean enjoyed playing games on her tablet, playing cards, pool, and doing yard work. Jean is survived by one daughter Nadeen R. Wrzeszcz of Elkton, MD, two sisters; her twin, Joan Cox (Tom) of Aurora, IL, Deanna Mika (Mike) of SC, two grandchildren Donald Harrington and Michelle Shorter (Duane), two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Jean is also survived by her companion and his family for over twenty five years: Paul Ouellet, Kathleen Ouellet, and Dan and Marianne Ouellet all of Erie. Jean's daughter, Nadeen extends a special thank you and her love to the Ouellet family for all their love and care they showed her mother over those many years. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Erie Regional Home Health and Hospice and the staff at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge; for their continued loving care to Jean. Services were private and held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
