Obituary of Mark R. Shattuck

Mark R. Shattuck, 59 of Erie, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at his residence in Schmid Towers. He was born May 21, 1956 to his loving parents Paul and Margaret Shattuck. Despite Mark’s disabilities, he will be remembered by family and friends for his positive attitude, genuine loving kindness and infectious humor. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother Alan R. Shattuck. Mark is survived by his two brothers Paul I. Shattuck and wife Sandy of Cummings GA and Donald Shattuck and wife Janet of East Springfield PA. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Maudine Shattuck Franklin and her husband Ronald Franklin of Erie; a cousin Nancy Ruhl of Tucson, AZ; a nephew Alan J. Shattuck and wife Stephanie of Erie and niece Natalie Shattuck Luxon and her husband William of Lake City, PA. Also surviving is niece Rachel Shattuck Keys and husband David of Phoenix, AZ; nephews; Mark Shattuck and wife Kimberly of Cumming GA and Nathan Shattuck and wife Bethany of Cumming, GA. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and sympathy to the staff and friends of Marks’ at Schmid Towers who also became his family. His family extends an invitation to all friends to a Memorial Service conducted by the Rev. Brock Beveridge which will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment will be held at Phillipsville Cemetery.
